Realme India has reportedly confirmed that future smartphones in the country will ship with ColorOS 17 instead of Realme UI. According to a recent report, eligible existing devices will also receive the new software through future operating system updates. The reported transition is intended to simplify software development and software updates. The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to move to ColorOS 17 as part of its promised Android upgrade cycle, while the reported change currently applies only to India.
